An exciting opportunity exists to lead a growing Youth Services team within Anglicare Victoria.
The team leader oversees programs in Youth Services within the Gippsland region and is responsible for leading and supervising teams working with children, young people and families to provide a holistic approach to achieve positive outcomes. The team leader will be involved in working with the manager with regard to program development and strengthening relationships with partners to ensure successful delivery of programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience and creative ideas to lead a team delivering youth services. The role currently oversees:
Reboot - a new and inventive program focusing on Youth Crime Prevention in Latrobe.
Targeted Care Packages - individualised care packages for Child Protection clients.
The successful applicant will work closely with key stakeholders, provide leadership and supervision to a growing team of coaches, key workers and mentors and participate in program evaluation. To be successful you will need relevant qualifications (Social Work/Welfare or related field), leadership experience and a history of working successfully with at-risk children, youth and families.
To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:
- A tertiary qualification in related field such as Social Work/Welfare or related field.
