About the Position
The Team Leader of the After Hours Service, will coordinate the delivery of a high quality after hour’s response service that provides responses to complex and high risk issues, across Out of Home Care, Children & Youth Programs.

What’s required in the role
The Team Leader will have excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to work in partnership with other Team Leaders and Practitioners, as well as a range of internal and external stakeholders.
They will demonstrate highly developed skills in risk assessment and responding to and managing complex and high risk issues across statutory and other services. This will include working in a fast paced environment, triaging complex issues, and negotiating with other stakeholders including statutory services.
What we are looking for
- Social Work or other relevant qualification
- Demonstrated experience in the OOHC sector
- Highly developed leadership skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Flexible and adaptive work style
- Positive and outcomes focused approach
- Strong risk assessment skills
