Our Homeless Services are based on a co-operative partnership between St Peter’s Eastern Hill, St Mark’s Fitzroy and Anglicare Victoria. Anglicare Victoria provides programs and services in spaces provided by the Parishes to those who find themselves in situations of primary, secondary, and tertiary homelessness. Our services include: breakfast programs, primary care partnerships and collaborative practice, emergency relief, complex needs case co-ordination and recreational programs. Community support including, advocacy and referral is also provided.
To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:
- Previous experience in the homeless sector with demonstrated knowledge of the needs of people affected by homelessness
- Ability and willingness to deliver Breakfast program services.
- Understanding of mental health conditions and ability to manage complex relationships.
- Strong listening and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- To be an effective team player.
