One of the state’s largest welfare providers, Anglicare Victoria has more than 1,800 volunteers working to deliver grassroots programs that strengthen communities. Our incredible volunteers help in many different ways, from serving meals at our homelessness support, to running homework clubs and helping out with fundraising events.
We rely on our volunteers to deliver essential services that support Victorians, and, in some cases, our volunteers rely on us: for rewarding experiences, for a powerful sense of community, and for tangible personal fulfilment. We thank our incredible volunteers and are always looking for likeminded individuals to join our network. If you have skills or experience that may assist us to advance our mission, that is to create better tomorrows for vulnerable families, children and young people in Victoria, we would love to hear from you below.
Anglicare welcomes anyone wanting to share their skills, expertise, passion and time to express their interest in volunteering.
Volunteering with Anglicare often requires working with some of the most vulnerable people in our community. To ensure that we get the right people placed in the right volunteer roles, we need to follow a rigorous recruitment process.
Once you have an idea of what are you would like to volunteer you follow our application process:
The application and recruitment process may take a few weeks. One thing that often takes the most time is the police check (DCSI and Working with Children Check), though not all voluntary roles require all of them.
