Your Role:
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, creative and committed individual to join our Adoption & Permanent Care team. We require a skilled practitioner to provide assessment, support and case management functions to children, families and caregivers within the Adoption and Permanent Care program at Yarraville. This is a 4 day per week, ongoing position.
The key responsibilities of this position include the provision of information and the assessment of individuals/couples who are interested in becoming permanent carers; supporting children and carers in adoption and permanent placements through the provision of case management; and working with birth families. This role also involves a component of post legal support to caregivers and children whose court orders have been legalised.
