About Us:

Life’s made of moments. Anglicare Victoria faces them head on. Moments of crisis, moments of change, moments of magic. Moments that make up the everyday, or change the course of a person’s life. Some are quiet, some are loud. Some are happy, some are sad. Whether fire or flood. Belief or despair. Joy or grief. We’re there.

Day in, day out, vulnerable people and families lean on Anglicare Victoria through these moments - from childhood to parenthood, and all the messy bits in between.

Your role:

The Property and Fleet Officer is the first point of contact for all maintenance requests across the region, triaging request as they are submitted. This role will work with site coordinators and our preferred contractors to ensure maintenance requests are completed on time, in budget and with the required quality outcome. In addition to our offices we have a number of Residential Homes and the Property Officer works closely with Housing Vic (Department of Families Fairness and Housing) to ensure all works are carried out in a timely manner.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role as are attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple works requests.

  • A sound knowledge of MS-Office, and be comfortable with Computerized Maintenance data bases and other associated systems.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, prioritise workload under minimal supervision, and refer or escalate issues as required.
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, flexibility, and be adaptable to changing priorities
  • Integrity and reliability with respect to confidential information.

Remuneration and benefits:

  • Total remuneration package of $96,204.33
  • Full time hours, 38 per week, permanent.
  • Hybrid working to meet your needs. Both office days at Collingwood and work from home days offered.

  • Our people are our biggest asset, we will support you to progress your career with a dedicated L&D team.
  • A workplace with Rainbow Tick Accreditation and DCA Inclusive Employer recognition.

What our people say- “I feel really supported - probably the most supported I’ve ever felt in a workplace. This job can be really difficult, so if you’re supported, that’s half the battle for me. Knowing it's there means I can go out and do the work.”
