The program:
Pathways to Change (PTC) is an innovative 8-week online group program designed for individuals who have used violence in their intimate relationships. The program focuses on promoting accountability, fostering empathy, and equipping participants with practical tools to build healthier, non-violent relationships.
Respondents are court ordered to attend counselling sessions which includes an intake session, 6 group counselling sessions and a safety and support session on exit.
All affected family members are contacted by Pathways to Change when the respondent is enrolled in the program.
Your role:
Join an established team alongside 6 counsellors and 1 Senior Family Worker led by a Team Leader.
The Senior Family Worker is part time 0.6, 3 days per week, and can be fully remote or you can work from our office in Box Hill.
You will work with affected family members to understand and support safety needs. This may include; linking to specialist services, providing information, or simply letting the family members know when the referred participant has exited the program. You will provide triage, assessment and onward referrals.
