As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for an experienced Company Secretary to join us as part of the CEO Office team.

 

About the Role

Working closely with the Board, Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Executive team, you will play a central role in strengthening and supporting Anglicare Victoria’s.

You will:

  • Support the Board to operate effectively, confidently and transparently.
  • Ensuring all requirements of ASIC and ACNC are fully met.
  • Work on significant projects supported by Board and the Executive team.
  • Work in the office as part of a team, connecting and contributing to the effective operations of the CEO Office, not limited to board responsibilities.
  • Use technology to support effective governance and administration i.e. Convene
  • Provide thoughtful, practical advice on governance, compliance and risk.
  • A dynamic role, contribute broadly to the team, includes EA duties and responsibilities.

About You

  • Significant experience in governance, company secretary, EA, legal and risk.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Happy to act as part of a high functioning team that act as a working group to best support the Board, CEO and the organisation.
  • Engaged and practical, in this role you will write the reports, the papers and take the minutes, but also drive and support ongoing improvements.
  • A strong understanding of governance and regulatory frameworks ASIC & ACNC.
  • The ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical guidance.
  • Part of a fun office, fast paced dynamic office, working as part of the CEO team
  • Qualifications in governance, law or business would be a great fit for this role.
  • Experience in not-for-profit, community services, health or government environments is welcomed, but not essential.
