The program:
Pathways to Change (PTC) is an innovative 8-week online group program designed for individuals who have used violence in their intimate and familial relationships.
The program focuses on promoting accountability, fostering empathy, and equipping participants with practical tools to build healthier, non-violent relationships.
While the approach does not excuse the individual's behaviour, it remains non-judgmental, with a strong emphasis on maximising engagement.
The goal is to address key risk factors, reduce immediate risks and improve compliance. The intended outcome is to motivate participants to take the first steps toward sustained behaviour change, fostering accountability and connecting them to ongoing support services.
Through a combination of interactive group sessions, guided self-reflection, and skills-based learning, participants will explore the underlying causes of their behaviour, understand its impact, and work towards sustainable change.
Your role:
A fixed term contract covering parental leave to 14th November 2027.
As a Senior Practitioner you are responsible for delivering high-quality interventions for men who use family violence, supporting behaviour change and promoting the safety and wellbeing of women, children, and families.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 11:30am-7:30pm, Friday 9am-5pm. Work from home, with an expectation of keep in touch days at Box Hill for team connection throughout the year.
Each group is facilitated by two experienced professionals, trained in behaviour change, family violence intervention, and trauma-informed practices.

What our people say- "Working directly with PUVs is vital to ending gendered violence as it provides the men with an opportunity to access services to reflect on how their choice to use violence impacts the safety and well-being of the victim survivor and children and give them the tools and strategies to change their behaviour.”
Ready to take the next step:
Please note that you MUST have a stable, reliable internet connection and a private office space to safely run these groups from home.
Could you please apply for the role before midnight on Sunday 13th September. We will review applications as they are received and may book interviews on a rolling basis.
