The Navigator Program is currently recruiting for a Senior Case Manager position as a backfill role, to 30 January 2027

Position: Navigator Senior Case Manager
Details: Part-time, 0.9 FTE, contract to 30 January, 2027
Level: SCHADS 6
Location: Primarily based in Wonthaggi, with outreach and travel across Inner Gippsland as required.

The program:
The Navigator program works with young people aged 12 to 17 years who have disengaged from education, to re-engage in their education through effective assertive outreach and case management support. AV and Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation have partnered to deliver an innovative Navigator program that works collaboratively with young people, their families, schools, communities, Local Learning and Employment Networks, and DET Area teams to provide holistic support targeted at re-engaging to education.

The Role:
You will be part of a dynamic team delivering services directly to young people. We are currently looking for experienced case managers with expertise supporting disengaged young people and their families, to work with our Navigator program – an innovative, research-informed program that assists disengaged learners to re-connect back into education and learning.

Position Requirements:
A relevant tertiary qualification at degree level in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Specialist, Occupational Therapy, or related behavioural sciences, or appropriate specialist experience, including lived experience.
