The Program:

Anglicare Victoria’s Communities for Children program is dedicated to creating a strong, inclusive, and child-friendly community. Communities for Children is an Australian Government initiative focused on enhancing early childhood development and wellbeing for children aged 0-12 and their families. We seek to listen to and empower children and facilitate opportunities for them to meaningfully participate in making decisions about matters that are important to them and their community.

 

Your role:

As an experienced project worker, you will be assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of children's projects in line with program requirements, through appropriate monitoring, learning and undertaking evaluation. You will also promote positive outcomes for children and families that align with sector and service developments within the Frankston LGA.

 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Collection and input of demographic and outcome data into the Commonwealth Data Exchange (DEX).
  • Deliver training, provide ongoing support, and write manuals.
  • Hold regular reviews ensuring the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and has demonstrated success in meeting outcome goals.
  • Various adhoc projects that support growth, deliver better outcomes and improve service delivery.
  • A really varied role that will have you wearing many different hats!

 

What you need to know:

  • A salary at SCHCADS level 5 which equates to around $100,776 plus super.
  • Flexible through the increments up to 5.3 (dependent upon experience).
  • Must be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • Based from our Frankston office, with service delivery predominantly across City of Frankston.
  • Part time, fixed term contract to June 30th 2026.
  • 2.5 day per week Communities For Children Project Worker.
